By The Way

I've turned on comment moderation, oh my friends. So go ahead and leave comments -- I'll post all non-hateful comments.

Wow, I am so sorry it has come to this point. What else can I say? I am simply very, very sorry that such hate speech necessitates such moderation.

May beauty fill both your nights and you days.

Thank you, honey!

I was actually sorta proud. I've been blogging in one form or another for many years now, and though I've had spam, and one comment once from someone who was VERY upset that I had dissed some artsy pictures one could buy of oneself singing with Stevie Nicks (tacky, oh so), I've never yet actually been SO out as to have attracted Mormons upset with my gayness.

So I'm proud. Very proud.

But I'm not interested in having actual discussions, or giving them space.

Hence the moderation.

But you can comment, honey!

Of course you're proud. Bravo!

Should also say: I LOVE IT that you're posting every day. Your point of view, whether or not you believe you have something to say, always opens my mind and often makes me laugh. You're just so damn good.

The one-who-must-be-moderated is right on one account, you are doing just what you should be.
Your voice is direction, even when you do not intend it to be so.
You manifest love, you speak goodness, and you guide others as exemplum and energy.
Your position defies titles. Thus, I will call you Astrolabe: providing a way when things are shrouded and dark, just by being.
(Lady Philosophy would be envious.)

p. s. never refer to yourself as "curmudgeonly." i know you, and i'm just not buyin' it.

My condolences on getting nasty comments, and thank you for saving me from having to read them.
